Hello Friends,
In today’s issue we will deal with the prophetic significance of identity. Did you know that you cannot truly understand who you are without knowing your place and role in prophecy? You may say, "how can one make such a statement?" It’s fairly simple. Jesus left us an example. He came to a proper knowledge of himself through the revelations of prophecy. You can do the same thing. Do you believe that you are alive in this segment of earth’s history by coincidence? No friend, you were born by providence! This will give you a sense of purpose beyond your mere name.
SELF-IDENTITY
Speaking of names, in Bible times parents did not haphazardly give their children names. Often they would study the child’s character and seek God before giving a name. For every name carried significance and preached a sermon in itself. Names corresponded with some vital endowment of character. For some time I heeded the silly suggestion to alter my name on the internet by using Lance Ryan instead of Ryan Lance Jeffery. Yet, to alter spiritual identity is something of far greater crisis. Understanding your place in prophetic history will help you appropriately respond to the world from God’s assessment and counsel. Christ devised a method whereby we can bypass our surface identity; determine who we really are and what we should be doing. How exciting! Now, let us find where we are in prophetic history.
THE GREATEST WEALTH OF PROPHETIC SIGNS
God’s Church displays the greatest evidence of where we are prophetically. Let us parallel the experience of the early apostolic church and recognize how that history is now repeated! During Pentecost, the spirit of God was poured on the disciples to proclaim the truth about Jesus. In the second chapter of Acts, Peter gives a prophetic discourse to the Jews. By reading below the surface we recognize this is not a sermon to the common people. Peter is speaking to the devout men who were in attendance at Pentecost. For Acts 2:5 reads, “And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven? Remember the prophecy of Daniel 9 allotted 3.5 years for the gospel to be specifically given to the Jews after the death of Christ. We will review this shortly. In Acts 2 Peter proved prophetically and historically that God’s own people crucified Christ. This was not preached in a spirit of condemnation! Many of the devout men of the Jewish nation were deceived by the higher learning of their day. The Bible records their heart anguish as they received this truth in the following words,
WHAT SHALL WE DO?
“Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do??Acts 2:37
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.? Acts 2:38UPSTANDING CHURCH MEMBERS REBAPTIZED?
Peter told them repent and be baptized. Is it possible devout men would need to repent? This is what the scripture says. Look at the warning in vs. 40, 41
“And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, save yourselves from this untoward (crooked) generation.?Acts 2:40. “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.? Acts 2:41 On the day of Pentecost the 3,000 were devout men who belonged to God’s true church. God had a plan to save his church. What is God’s plan to save the church of today? Let us continue.
GODS INREACH RESCUE PLAN
Read Acts 1:1-15- Jesus has left and he told his disciples to go into the upper room. They studied the Old Testament prophecies that apply to the Messiah and proved to themselves that Christ is indeed the Messiah!Acts1:17- Judas was a part of a ministry. Who started the Ministry? Jesus started a ministry, for the express reason of saving his church (the devout men, his chosen, etc.). Therefore, Christ instructed his disciples, “But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matthew 10:6).? Here is a quote from a book on the life of Christ entitled, “The Desire of Ages?
“The burden of Christ preaching was, “THE TIME IS FULFILLED, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ye, and believe the gospel. “Thus the gospel message, as given by the Saviour Himself, was based on the prophecies. The “time?which He declared to be fulfilled was the period made known by the angel Gabriel to Daniel. “SEVENTY WEEKS,?said the angel, “are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to FINISH THE TRANSGRESSION, and to make an END OF SINS, and to make RECONCILIATION FOR INIQUITY, and to BRING IN EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS, and to SEAL UP THE VISION AND PROPHECY, and to ANNOINT THE MOST HOLY.?Dan. 9:24----Desire of Ages pg. 233
CHRIST MISSION WAS FUELED BY PROPHECY, IS YOURS?
By 27 A.D. the ministry of Jesus was active at the exact time prophecy foretold. Consequently, the Jews had seven years left to accept Jesus as the Messiah. The Jews were Gods chosen people when Jesus started his rescue ministry. In Acts 1:22-25 they chose Mathias to be a part of the original ministry of Christ to replace Judas (the crooked treasurer).
WHY DID JESUS START HIS OWN MINISTRY?
Why did Jesus start his own ministry when he could have submitted to the duties of the organized church? Was Jesus an offshoot? No friends, he was an in shoot. After the fame of Christ was broadcast all about, he returned to a Sabbath service in his hometown of Nazareth. During service he read from the prophecy of Isaiah. The bible reads in Luke 4:17, “And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias, And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,? After reading, Christ passes the book back to the minister and everyone stared in amazement. In fact, his testimony was so catered to the time he stated, “THIS DAY is the scripture fulfilled in your ears (Luke 4:21).?CHRIST MINISTRY BEARS THE PROPHETIC STAMP
When the church recognized his mission was designed for them, there was a change in the audience. “And they said, is not this Joseph’s son (Luke 4:22).? It was Christ who declared, “I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel (Matt. 15:24).? Yet, he was known as a carpenter at his home church. Besides, Jesus did not have a degree in theology. Who gave him license to speak? Jesus knowing their hearts said, “No prophet is accepted in his own country (Luke 4:24)?
CHURCH RESPONSE TO CHRIST MINISTRY
Let’s see how happy the church was when the truth entered the service: “And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath, And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong. But he passing through the midst of them went his way, (Luke 4:28-30).? Jesus escaped, for according to prophecy he had a couple of years left before he was to die. Notice this point. Jesus symbolizes the truth. In John 14:6 Christ declared, “I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life:?A church today who crucifies the truth represents a modern day type of the crucifixion of Christ. Will you be innocent of the blood of Christ?
Now we have greater understanding when we read Luke 4:18- Where were the poor? In the church. Where were the broken hearted & captives? In the church. Who needed recovery of sight? The church. Satan had the Jewish nation captive. They used to be able to see.
“THIS DAY IS THE SCRIPTURE FULFILLED IN YOUR EARS?br />
Do you really want to be like Jesus? Jesus started a ministry recognizing a 7 year scope where the eternal destiny of his fellow church members would be decided. 27-A.D to 34 A.D. contains a modern day parallel for the church today.

WE REPRESENT ISREAL WHEN CHRIST WALKED THE EARTH
“The trials of the children of Israel, and their ATTITUDE just before the FIRST COMING OF CHRIST, illustrate the position of the people of God in their experience before the SECOND COMING OF CHRIST? Review and Herald, 1890, No. 7
From this prophetic principle we can deduce that whatever was happening in God’s Church from 27AD to 34AD will be happening in Christ Church Just prior to him coming. The signs declare Christ soon coming. Thus, we can learn rich truth from a study of the activities that took place from 27.A.D to 34A.D. This is key for you to understand the remaining portion of our study.
The bible is written in parallels format so that we can recognize Satan in all his disguises. If you recognize the parallel and take up the ministry of Christ, God will use you to help rescue his church. Today 34 A.D lines up with THE NATIONAL SUNDAY LAW (close of probation for God’s Chosen)(For new subscribers unfamiliar refer to www.greatprophecy.com for a detailed study on the mark of the beast). The prophecy of Daniel 9 delineated what the Jews had to accomplish by 34 A.D. Here are the highlights from Daniel 9:24-27
SEVENTY WEEKS ARE DETERMINED UPON THY PEOPLE AND THY HOLY CITY.
1) To finish the transgression
2) To make and end of sins
3) To make reconciliation for iniquity
4) To bring in everlasting righteousness
5) To seal up the vision and prophecy
6) To anoint the most holy.
What they had to do by 34AD we must do by the National Sunday Law.
Here lies a problem. This message is not being preached. “Don’t worry God’s going to fix it.? Jesus faced this same attitude with his own church even though they only had seven years left for their eternal destiny to be decided when his ministry began. Jesus is now in the most holy place. Our seventy weeks are about up. There are devout men today being led astray. If Satan can shut down God’s truth, millions will be unprepared.
CHIEF WORK OF SALVATION NO LONGER LIMITED
During the time of Christ God had chosen the Jews as his primary vehicle to teach salvation to the world. For Christ said, “Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews (John 4:22). Today salvation is of God’s true people.
