• Motivation and Success: Improved Techniques
  • BY:John Moore

Changing our internal programming that limits us has never been simpler or easier; we just expect it to be more complex! When we a ociate images or objects that provide a state of relaxation and joy we create a receptive environment for the unco cious mind to accept powerful motivation and succe ful results.

    Founding Father of Autosuggestion:

In the late 19th and early 20th century Emile Coue (a chemist who became a hy otist) experimented with autosuggestion techniques with great results.

He believed and showed that by using ones i er resources and imagination one could improve their life physically, mentally and iritually.

The succe he had curing patients with the affirmation below was nothing short of ectacular!

Day by day, in every way, I am getting better and better.

As a pharmacist he would encourage his patients to say this affirmation 20 times with a low voice, morning and evening, in a state of relaxation, like a litany.

He found the following immutable relatio hi (facts) that we have expanded:

    A. When the will (co cious mind) and the imagination (unco cious mind) are antagonistic, it is always the imagination (unco cious mind) that wi , without exception.

This mea , we cant override our pa ive unco cious beliefs with our co cious thoughts. Most of us think we can and we are what an illusion we are weaving!

    B. In the conflict between the will (co cious mind) and the imagination (unco cious mind), the force of the imagination is in direct ratio to the square of the will.

This mea , our unco cious minds beliefs are far more pervasive than we have ever understood, as the will (co cious mind) times the will (co cious mind) is a very strong force yet still only in ratio to the imagination (unco cious mind)!

We would have to co tantly work ourselves into a huge state to override the unco cious mind co ciously. Sometimes we can do this, though not often.

    C. When the will (co cious mind) and the imagination (unco cious mind) are in agreement, one does not add to the other, but one is multiplied to the other.

What we already believe and know: unco cious and co cious, work very together very well in us. What we believe but dont know are antagonistic and cause most of our limitatio .

    D. The imagination (unco cious mind) can be directed.

Without this we would never be able to change, our limitatio would rule supreme! With this we have a powerful tool for i ut to align our co cious and unco cious minds for amplification of our intention!

    Current Advocates:

This information has been used in many walks of life since.

Renowned motivators like Anthony Ro i and others have used this information to i til succe programming into the unco cious mind of students though the use of affirmatio .

Many have also used the hype through our peak experiences to make it more thrilling and attractive. This can retrain the unco cious mind or imagination to a new belief that hype is required to enable change: a potentially exhausting proposition for the home based student!

Succe ful athletes program an anticipated wi ing performance and outcome for an event prior to their participation.

Movie producers lead our unco cious mind through a story to create an emotional reaction in us that we may not have experienced in real life.

    Tra forming it for Now:

We know that in a relaxed state we are more receptive to suggestion.

Want to convince someone of what you are saying? Use a technique that powerful motivational eakers use disarm the audience first by getting them to relax, either by stretching or by being humorous.

So what is the most effective way to multiply the will (co cious mind) by the imagination (unco cious mind)?

Be in a relaxed and joyful state. In this state we are the most receptive to suggestion.

    To do thi

    - Choose an affirmation that would change your life, if you could act as if it were true.

    - Induce a state of relaxation, and,

    - Give it a tremendous boost by a ociating it with joy, a state of our higher mind.

Emile Coue repeatedly stre es that in order for autosuggestion to work, efforts must not be made; the will (co cious mind) must not be used. Affirmation must be used effortle ly; otherwise we are using the co cious mind only and doomed to mediocre results!

    Dolphi Alive:

My wife, Rosemary, and I have had many years experience coaching our clients to pro erity, leadership and living! One of the most effective methods we use is affirmatio , with visual stimuli and higher mind states (joyfulne ).
