• Flitter Flutter Crib Bedding by Kidsline A Product Review

Kidsline, one of the most well known brands of crib bedding, is available to customers through many national chai , including Babies R Us, baby ecialty stores, and online retailers. Flitter Flutter crib bedding was introduced by Kidsline in late 2004. A ealing to those interested in the popular butterfly theme for their nursery dcor, Flitter Flutter a ears to be a reasonable value at between $145 and $175 for a six-piece set.

Flitter Flutter comes as a six-piece crib set which includes a quilt, bumper, fitted sheet, dust ruffle, diaper stacker, and one valance. The six pieces are available for separate purchase. The collection is made from 65/35 poly/cotton blend fabrics and is machine washable. Flitter Flutter has a generous a ortment of acce ories available - from the industry standard musical mobile and wall border to a clothes tree and night light. Given the sheer number of acce ories, it would be almost impo ible for a store to carry all of them. You may need to visit one of the few we ites that carry all of the acce ories in stock. And take care that a $175 crib set does not evolve into a $500 nursery collection mo ter after buying all of the acce ories.

The quilt, the centerpiece of crib bedding collectio , is decorated with a liqud butterflies with purple gingham trim. The quilt features stitching to give it a textured look. Close i ection of the a liqus and stitching in the quilt uncovered some slight flaws, however this would go u oticed by the casual o erver and I dont think it detracts from the quilt. The a liqud butterflies are made from different fabrics including a shiny satin fabric. There is also silver threading throughout the quilt, which catches the light, and makes a nice addition.

The bumper stands 10.5 tall with top and bottom ties. One minor shortcoming for the bumper is the fact that it is one continuous piece, which makes washing it more of a chore. The dust ruffle features a 12 drop with the same a liqud butterflies around the drop. The valance is in a tab style and measures 13.5 by 60. The diaper stacker measures 26 by 12 and can hold at least two-dozen diapers. The fitted sheet is made using printed fabrics, with the pattern being printed onto a solid colored fabric; I would caution you to be aware of potential pattern fade in the sheet from multiple washings and normal wear and tear. , I would recommend that co umers purchase separate solid colored sheets for every day use (white, pink or lavender should work just fine), and reserve the Flitter Flutter sheet for when you want to show off your nursery to visitors.

Unfortunately for Canadian co umers purchasing from a United States online retailer, the Flitter Flutter bedding collection is manufactured in China. Customers in Canada would be required to pay import duties of as much as 18% of the stated prices.

If you are interested in the Butterfly theme, you might also want to look at Flutterbye and Mirabella also by Kidsline or Secret Garden by Lam and Ivy
